What is SwoopThon?

 

Swoop-A-Thon at the University of North Florida is a 12-hour, student-run philanthropic event that raises funds and awareness for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. The funds raised for CMN Hospitals locally benefit the pediatric programs at UF Health Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

What is FTK?

Why should you stay on your feet for 12 hours? To quote our motto: We "Can't Stop, Won't Stop" especially when it's "FTK" - For The Kids! It is this solidarity to and connection with the cause that makes Swoop-A-Thon an event unlike any other!

Why Should You Do This Event?

All of the funds raised will stay local to help purchase life-saving medical equipment, educational resources and child life supplies for the pediatric programs at UF Health Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
